MF Doom - Operation Doomsday: Lunchbox [Box Set]

Despite the no shows from folks who said they'd support this project if I kept it going, I'm going to try to keep it going, largely because I'm going to try to keep Hip Hop Albums going at netweed and that makes this much easier to do. However, I'm probably going to stop doing the new Album Info section at netweed, since that's time consuming and somewhat redundant, and also back off of regular posting at Hip Hop Logic, though I'd like to do more with the Concert Tour Dates section.

Though I wanted to go further with Hip Hop Logic, I'm now doing some blogging at Hypebot and that's taking my best music industry blogging energy. Plus, I'm actually putting most of my own site building energy into my newest project, All World Dance.

I hope to eventually do more work with Hip Hop Movies and then revive NC Hip Hop. That's the long term plan but this report and the main albums section at netweed are going to remain a baseline as long as possible.

DJ Quik - Book of David

Lots of releases this week though many are from the ongoing flow out of the Bay Area and are a bit hard to sort out if you don't stay up on that scene. Judging from presales, this week's most anticipated releases come from DJ Quik, Del The Funky Homosapien and Cam'ron & Vado as well as the Operation Lunchbox reissue from MF Doom!

Note: Whoever's handling this D.A.Z. release is doing a horrible job online. It's like selling it out of the digital trunk!
