Hip hop albums are a dying art form killed by mixtapes and rap as a singles sport as much as anything else. It's like a week in January. This is looking like the slimmest year for hip hop album releases since I started doing the Hip Hop Albums database back in 2004. Some call it murder. I call it suicide. Guess that's a fitting thought for Tyler the Creator Week!
