Google May Kill This Blog Thanks to Their Bad Math [Update: F*ck Google]

Update: Being sick threw me off but I can get this done by midnight and I'm not changing a damn thing.  F*ck Google.

Sorry, folks, but I'm sick and may not be able to reach tonight's deadline.  However it will definitely be up tomorrow.

Also, Google has placed this site in its Supplemental Index which means it no longer shows up in regular Google results.  This may be because their algorithms consider it duplicate content since I post related information at ProHipHop and at netweed: Hip Hop Albums.  Or it may be something else.  No way to know really cause that's how Google operates, as an uncommunicative monolith who buries you dispassionately if that's what their math says do.

However, I don't post all the covers together at ProHipHop and I don't include all the art at Hip Hop Albums.  Plus, given that a few thousand people subscribe to my newsletter or RSS feed, there seems to be some valid human interest in this project.

Guess it shows you what happens when people with high SAT scores let math do their editing.

In any case, there's really little I can do.  I may merge this report back into ProHipHop, though that causes other problems.  However, if I do that, the current feeds and newsletters will still be available.  I'll just switch the feed source for those products and you'll still be able to get this weekly report separately from anything else with which I'm involved.

Sorry but being sick is also making it hard to make a final decision cause once I switch it's going to stay switched but that means the death of this neat little site that I really liked having separate.  And that makes me very sad.
